Aphria reaches new distribution agreement in Canada

Aphria Inc. (NYSE: APHA) (TSX:APHA) and ParcelPal Technology Inc. (CSE: PKG) (OTC: PTNYF) are set to announce a new strategic partnership later today. Its focus will be in the delivery of APHA’s medical cannabis products through PKG’s logistical services. 


As per a report by Forbes, distribution will begin in the Calgary market and will expand to other regions shortly thereafter. Aphria will be in charge of the marijuana-derived products and online sales, and ParcelPal will provide the logistical framework for delivery and the push of products through their various delivery apps. Orders will be trackable in real time.

ParcelPal said in a statement that they expect the arrangement to also “will furthermore assist in eliminating impaired drivers from our roadways by removing their need to drive to or from cannabis stores for product” from Aphria and MADD Canada’s perspective.
