What?

A California Congressman has sued Twitter over an alleged anti-conservative political bias. In a lawsuit aimed at the company and several individuals, Rep. Devin Nunes claims that the social media platform defamed and shadow-banned conservative users.

Why?

The former chair of the House Intelligence Committee accuses the social media giant of “negligence, defamation per se, insulting words, and civil conspiracy.”

“Twitter allowed (and allows) its platform to serve as a portal of defamation in order to undermine public confidence in Plaintiff and to benefit his opponents and opponents of the Republican Party,” states the lawsuit.

The complaint was filed last week.
